Code of Ethics - My Responsibility to You
My Responsibility to You
I hold my clients situation and information in the strictest of confidence. Nothing said in our conversation is recorded by me in any manner whatsoever. The only records I keep are your astrological charts and the notes I took during my preparation - I keep these in a file in case you desire a follow up consultation. I generally only keep your charts and the notes readily available for a period of 1 year.
While many Astrologers will not work without a birthtime, I will...however, be advised that I am unable to use certain astrological criteria for these types of readings and some of the information I provide to you may be based on psychic intuition rather than astrology alone. I will always inform you that this is so. For Relationship (Synastry) Readings and Consultations I must have the complete birth information for at least one partner, including the birth time. When it comes to prediction, lacking a birthtime will obviously skew the results and I will be less accurate and will have to provide you with a wider range of dates rather than the typical 1 - 3 day window. Predicting relationship events becomes particularly difficult if both birth times are not available and if I do not feel confident that I am able to provide you with a relatively accurate time frame, I will inform you immediately.
During our consultation, you may ask me direct questions and require that I provide specific dates for occurrences. Please understand that any dates I provide are possibilities, not certainties. If you require such information, it is to your benefit to inform me before our chat, not during! Astrology is a wonderful tool for providing dates and knowledge of upcoming events in your life, but finding specific dates requires hours upon hours of work and numerous charts (sometimes 50 or more!). Obviously if I am asked for a date out of left field, I will only be able to respond in general using my accumulated notes from my preparation and/or our prior consultations. I may also receive an answer from spirit for you, but I prefer to rely upon astrological calculation for finding specific dates.
Although I always do my very best to ensure accuracy of any prediction you may ask me to make, I ask you to keep in mind that there is very little in our lives that is set in stone--meaning we have the power to change nearly any prediction about our future. Due to the free will of each individual, the path can change, particularly if the questions involve situations far into the future (beyond 6 months). I prefer to view my service as a guidepost to help you avoid (or lessen) negative circumstances while utilizing opportunities. Indeed, you should not view any prediction from any reader as something that cannot change; each individual retains the power to create his or her own life.
I am responsible to you, my client, for providing a calm and safe place to discuss your concerns. I am an extremely open minded person and I will discuss anything you need to discuss in depth and without embarrassment…this includes sexuality in all of its forms, relationships, death, frustrations, darker thoughts, et al. I do not mind if you curse or cry or become angry or express any emotion whatsoever…I am here to help you get everything out and to obtain an outside perspective on your situation. I ask that you try not to withhold information from me as it only hinders my ability to help you…the more you hide, the more time and energy I must use to discover what is really bothering you and what you really need help with. I always welcome as much background information as you care to provide prior to our consultation. Please send any background information via email to me at Dena@throughnightsfire.com and please don’t feel embarrassed if it goes to 5+ pages…the more I know in advance, the more I will be able to really focus in on what is important and the less time we must spend in the consultation covering background information.
When you ask for my opinion on what course of action to take in a situation, please remember that it is my opinion (based on astrology, your personality, your situation, spiritual guidance, tarot, etc). My opinion, while often valuable to my clients, is still my opinion. I do not expect you to listen to everything or even anything I suggest…you must be in control of your own life and I will do everything in my power to be supportive of you and to offer suggestions, but I do not desire to foster dependence in my clients. If I feel at some point in our relationship that you have become too dependent on me, I may tell you so directly and I may offer suggestions on how to be stronger within yourself. Please do not be offended by this…I only want what is best for you and your spiritual growth and health. On the other hand, I also ask that you do not blame me for any actions you may take regarding your life and your situation based on my opinion or otherwise. You must make your own final decisions and take actions that you feel are right for you. I wish to provide loving guidance and support, not authority.
Terms of Service
The following contract is delivered along with the confirmation email after purchase of a consultation or a written karmic reading.
The purchase of a consultation or written reading at Through Night’s Fire Astrology signifies a binding contract between Evolutionary Astrologer Dena L. Moore and you, the prospective client. Please read the following carefully and completely before our appointed meeting time. It is to your advantage to read upon receipt.
Where we meet
All consultations are rendered via a password secured private chat room unless the client chooses, at his or her discretion, to meet on a Messenger Service - MSN, Yahoo, AOL, or ICQ. Please inform me immediately if you prefer to use one of the above Messenger Services. I will send the page and password for our consultation approximately 24 - 48 hours before our meeting.
If you are late for our appointment, I may not have the option of going over the scheduled time (for instance, if our consultation is from 9 am – 10 am I may have another appointment at 10 am). I will do so if it is possible. I will wait in the chat room for 15 minutes for you. If you are more than 15 minutes late and you have not contacted me (a 'no show') you will forfeit the entire purchase price of your consultation and will need to purchase another in order to reschedule. Please be aware that I may be unable to meet again for two – four weeks. If you know in advance that you will need to reschedule, please contact me 10+ hours in advance (read the cancellation and refund policy at the end of the terms of service). If I am late for our appointment, please wait for 15 minutes. I am rarely late, but if something prevents me from arriving on time I will always fulfill the full amount of scheduled time. If something has happened (an emergency) I will be sure to have someone contact you and let you know what has happened. If I have an emergency I will offer you the option of a refund or to reschedule.
My Regular Appointment Hours
My regular hours are as follows (all in Eastern Standard Time):
I currently do not have regular appointment hours! My hours are erratic and are based on your availability and my personal responsibilities to my home, health, & children. I can generally meet within 3 - 5 days, sometimes the same day (depending on the type of reading and the necessary preparation needed in conjunction with my current client load).
I am in St. Petersburg, FL (East Coast USA) and occasionally in the UK (GMT or BST). I will calculate our time difference for you and provide you with various times to choose from...or you can tell me what works best for you and I will juggle my schedule to accommodate as much as possible.
Written Readings
I am currently offering Karmic Soul Path Readings and Karmic Relationship Readings as written readings. Various other readings/consultations are offered as a written reading for an additional fee. My Karmic Past Life Readings are handwritten and then typed and delivered via Email. I use astrology combined with intuition and channeling of the akashic records to provide information to help you understand where you have been, where you are now, and the direction your soul is currently taking. I also offer advice on how to overcome difficult karma and create a more fully positive current life for yourself or your relationship. These readings are scheduled to begin on a date where I will be able to fully concentrate on you and/or your relationship. I deliver the karmic readings within 3 - 6 weeks.
Accepted Payments
I offer a wide variety of payment options and am always expanding these options to make it more convenient for you. For Credit Card payments, I currently use Paypal and Clickbank as my credit card servers. Both accept international payments and various types of credit cards. I also accept the following:

Personal Checks (US)
Business Checks (US)
Money Orders (US)
International bank drafts drawn in US Funds
Western Union Payments (International)

About Transcripts
The consultation does not include a transcript. However, please feel free to copy and paste our conversation for future reference. Please be aware that the secure chat room scrolls up rather quickly and previous words are lost. I no longer offer a transcript because it became too distracting trying to get every bit for my clients. I would rather spend our time together focusing on you and your needs. If you would like a transcript of our time together, I suggest using one of the IM services, such as AOL, Yahoo, or MSN.
Scheduled Time vs. ‘Emergency’ Time
The purchase price is for the amount of time you have selected for our appointment. Depending on my client load and other responsibilities on the date of our appointment, I may only have that amount of time available for you. Please purchase as much time as you feel you need in advance so I may schedule accordingly.
If I do have more time available and you would like further insight or have a need to talk longer about your situation, I will be happy to do so. Please make it your responsibility to keep track of the time and expense. I can focus in on you and your situation more fully and intensely without outside concerns and distractions. The more focused I am, the more connected to spirit I become and I may be able to deliver additional knowledge about your circumstances that my astrological preparation cannot provide. The price list for going over your scheduled appointment time is as follows (the minutes are in addition to your scheduled appointment time, not inclusive):

The prices are higher for a continuation of a consultation (in comparison to a scheduled consultation) because I consider it an ‘emergency’ meeting - it was not scheduled, but was on the spur of the moment. I will bill you via Paypal or Clickbank after we are through speaking. If you fail to pay for the additional consulting time within 48 hours from billing, I may decline future consultations at my discretion. If you wish to pay by personal check (US), business check (US), money order (US), Western Union (US & International), international bank draft drawn in US funds, or international funds (cash) sent via registered mail (I accept both Euros and Pounds Sterling in cash), you must email me within the 48 hour period regarding your intent.
My follow up consultations provide the opportunity to discuss your situation further if you need to do so. You may want to complete our consultation at the appointed time and simply arrange for a follow up consultation or, alternatively, you may purchase your initial consultation and a follow up for the same day and I will simply schedule you for the allotted time you’ve chosen.

Phone Consultations ~ all information in this section only applies to phone consultations, not online consultations or written readings.
I do not generally offer phone consultations, but I do realize there are occasions when my clients need to speak with me directly, ask me questions, and hear my voice. All phone consultations are currently considered emergency contact. Please be aware that I have an autistic son and if he is at home while we are speaking there may be unavoidable interruptions.
The fee for 30 minutes on the phone is 150.00 and the fee for 60 minutes is 250.00. If you are a long standing client, I will bill you for the phone call. If you are a new client, I will require you to pay the fee before calling me. Also, I only bill in 30 minute and 60 minute increments. If your phone call lasts 10 minutes, you will be billed for 30 minutes. If your phone call lasts 31 minutes, you will be billed for one hour.
If you need to call me, please email me for my telephone number. If you are a long standing client, you already likely have my number. Please be courteous and try to email me before calling. If extenuating circumstances prevent you from letting me know via email first (for instance, you are out of the country or for some reason do not have access to a computer), please just let me know the reason when you call.
Cancellations and Refunds
If you do not agree to any of the above information, please request a refund immediately. I will refund your purchase with no questions asked if requested to do so within 24 hours after delivery of my terms of service. Paypal payments can be refunded immediately; however, Clickbank holds payment for up to 6 weeks. I personally refund Paypal payments via Paypal. If you are a Clickbank customer, you really have two options for a refund. 1) You can wait six weeks and I can manually refund you the money via check or money order. 2) You can contact Clickbank personally and ask them for a refund.
The above contract becomes binding 24 hours after I email the confirmation and terms of service. My regular cancellation and refund policy goes into effect at that time (below).
If you must cancel a scheduled appointment and wish to receive a full refund, you must cancel 48 hours prior to our consultation time. If you cancel under 48 hours but before 24 hours prior to our consultation time, I will refund 50% of the fee. Cancellations received less than 24 hours before our appointment will result in a 100% loss of the fee. I start working on your consultation 48 hours before our meeting…90% of the work is completed before we ever meet in chat. If you need to reschedule an appointment, please do so 10+ hours in advance. If you need to reschedule less than 10 hours prior to our consultation, I will consider it a cancellation and you will need to purchase a new consultation if you still desire to meet. If you have a legitimate reason (such as a family emergency) please let me know as soon as possible...forgetting about our appointment time, oversleeping, taking an extended vacation, and other similar reasons are not legitimate reasons to miss our appt. and I will not issue refunds or reschedule consultations for such reasons.
If you must cancel a karmic written reading, please request your refund within one week after purchase. I will offer a full refund if requested within 7 days after purchase for Karmic readings, and a 50% refund if requested within 10 days after purchase. I will always have started work on your charts/reading within 10 days after purchase, therefore I am unable to offer a refund after 10 days. For non-karmic written readings, I will offer a refund only if requested to do so within 24 hours after purchase. I always start the smaller, less-intensive written readings within 48 hours after purchase, therefore I am unable to offer a refund after 24 hours.
