Leo Male
The Leo needs to be in the spotlight, and he's not afraid to put himself there. If his looks fail to charm everyone around him, he will use his voice and connections to be noticed. In a relationship he needs a woman he can be proud of, but she needs to be less flashy and much quieter than he is. Under no circumstances will he allow his partner to upstage him. He usually has excellent taste and expects you to, too. He likes to pretend that money is no issue, that he has as much as a man could ever want, but this isn't usually the case--after all, he has very expensive tastes. Sexually, he needs to be pampered and although his appetites are high, sex often seems like a one-man show with this rising. If his partner can take care of his need to be number one in the bedroom, he may remain loyal to her. If she expects an actual blending of two souls rather than the impersonal love he offers, he will be off on the hunt for someone more concerned with individual growth and the rise to stardom than companionship.
Leo Female
This woman needs to be the center of attention, especially when men are around. She believes that she is the best and she exudes self-confidence and sexuality. Although she may not be as confident as she portrays herself to be, no one is the wiser. Leo is a bit spoiled. She has expensive tastes and expects to be pampered by an independent, unconventional man who adores her for her determination and self-centeredness. Her creativity and generosity come to the fore in a relationship in which she respects and admires her partner. Always dramatic in her deliveries--of speech, of her children, of her piece of art--she is often a very playful and teasing partner. Sexually she is much like the male Leo; she needs to be center stage. She enjoys sex, but she wants to be in control and worshipped. She is also quite impersonal in her love, which can cause problems in her relationships. Leo isn't one to daydream of waiting on her man--in fact, if she has daydreams of this nature, they will be dreams of the man waiting on her. If she feels neglected, she will be on the prowl in an instant, and it won't take much for her to find an adoring male willing to submit to her. In the long run, however, she won't be able to respect the man who does her bidding. She needs to find a healthy balance of independence and closeness with a mate who is her equal.
